A Riot of Learning Fun!
Classes at Baby Riot
Classes are opportunities for children and their caregivers to experience several developmental arenas like language and literacy, music, art, science, math, social and emotional skills, dramatic play, and sensory explorations through carefully curated play. Every class features a small circle time with a stories and songs, time spent doing a big body play activity, and time exploring learning activities that encourage development through the learning themes.

Circle Cohort
Our Circle learning cohort is made up of our earliest movers. Each week, the current learning theme is brought through provocations that support intentional grasp, transferring, working with both hands, tracking, rolling, head and neck support, reaching, twisting, and early crawling. These classes match children at a pace that nurtures their curiosity and allows space for their ideas to be heard and followed.

Honeycomb Cohort
As children's movement progresses, life gets a little more complex! Our Honeycomb cohort supports children working on early locomotion, sitting, creeping, crawling, crouching, standing, and early walking. These classes experience a huge growth in the ability for children to focus and communicate their ideas with the learning.

Star Cohort
Our Star cohort learners are our most confident movers, with a lot of time spent exploring walking, running, crouching, crawling, climbing, jumping, dancing, and squatting. These classes become much more socially interactive and even more community focused, giving children a chance to foster and navigate relationships with their peers and community.

Caregiver Groups and Supports
Our caregiver classes and circles are spaces where we bring together different types of caregivers to learn, work through, and support each other as a class group community. Baby Riot is currently forming circles for:
-
Moms
-
Dads
-
