In an early childhood classroom, learning areas are deliberate parts of the learning space.  These focus areas allow children room to work on emerging developmental skills and interests through guided and curated play.  Our studios follow that same concept, crafting opportunities for thinking and forming connections around each developmental area, while supporting play and inquiry that strengthen emerging skills, talents, and interests. 

Our studio at large will change every month to correlate with the learning topic of our current class explorations, as well as seasonally to reflect the bigger world outside.  Our classes will add in interactive elements that change weekly, while staying anchored in the studios that change at a slower pace.  We also work to bring in connections, celebrations, and happenings that are unique to our city in order to share in ways that help children understand and participate in our vibrant city life.
