Our Learning Studio
Our learning studio is where the thinking and creativity happens... again and again. It's a place for hands on experimentation and fun, making messes, belly laughs and singing songs, making friends and trying ideas. We love to say "Yes!" and "I wonder."
Our studios are based around common developmental arenas that exist in a preschool setting: places that encourage children to grow and explore their ideas and themselves. Through curated play themes and materials that grow and change like they do, we evolve our environment weekly to add in new experiences to familiar favorites to make every visit unique.
Our studios change to reflect the seasons and each month to reflect the current big idea we are thinking about. Sign up for our newsletter to stay informed on coming events, studio themes, and classes.

Baby Land
Baby land is our softest space, designed for our earliest movers. Provocations focus on rolling, reaching, balancing, sitting, grasping, intentional grab and release, and supporting the integration of early reflexes and building cognitive connections.

The Light Lab
One of our most magical studios, this area focuses on the learning language of light and is set up to investigate relationships with light and our world. In addition to exploring the thematic and seasonal stories of the studio, the light studio will often invite children to think about transparency, color, texture, value, shadow and form.

The Village
The village is our dramatic play area and encompasses several houses (big and small) that evolve through dramatic play themes throughout the year. This is a great place for tea parties, dress up, theater and performance art, dance, and playing through so many daily scenes that make up family life. The landscape changes seasonally and the learning themes tie in throughout the year to make this an organic and always changing little town.

City Life
Our building area combines blocks and building with cars and all the things that go and is informed by a fantastic view of the Fremont bridge and the bustle of the I-5. This area is often enriched with loose parts and repurposed or reimagined materials, as well as seasonal materials to help children connect the pulse of the city to the rhythm of their natural world.

The Meadow
The meadow is for big body play, with a few different places to test balance, climb, prance, dance, and take a (calculated and supported) chance!

The Library
A softer, quieter space to snuggle, read a book, chest feed without distraction, or just take a quiet break together.

The Learning Lab
Our lab is a place to raise some STEAM about all things Science. Our magnet wall is equipped with several different interactive tools - from gears to letters to pipes and tubes. Our sensory play areas invite children to scoop, pour, sift, and sort while engaging in pretend and thematic play.

The Art-tilier
Our messy art space is an invitation to say yes to the mess! Our open ended invitations allow children to explore the process of creating without the pressure of producing. We offer changing and thematic explorations that focus on reimagined and repurposed materials.

The Loose Parts Studio
Our loose parts studio, set in its very own room tucked away from the bigger play areas, is a place to use reimagined and repurposed materials and investigate the world through loose parts play. This is a very popular spot for our older children and allow us to work and support a space that evolves and grows through our ideas and experiments while being mindful of managing the smaller parts and the agreements that come with using them.
